Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SummonNote or the Ryouth Software website at ryouthsoftware.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app or website.

Permitted Use

SummonNote is provided as a free app with an optional Plus subscription. You may use the free tier with up to 10 active notes at no cost. The Plus subscription removes the note limit and adds cloud sync. You may use SummonNote for personal or commercial note-taking purposes.

The Ryouth Software website is provided for informational purposes. You may browse the site, sign up for the newsletter, and view app information.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on SummonNote.
• Distribute, sublicense, or resell access to SummonNote.
• Use SummonNote for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the app, website, or associated servers.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to scrape data from the Ryouth Software website.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices within the app or website.

Subscription

Plus subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Ryouth Software does not issue refunds directly.

Intellectual Property

SummonNote, the Ryouth Software website, and all associated content, design, logos, and code are the property of Ryouth Software. All rights not expressly granted to you in these terms are reserved.

You retain full ownership of your note content. Ryouth Software claims no ownership or rights to the content you create or store within SummonNote.

Disclaimers

SummonNote and the Ryouth Software website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Ryouth Software does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that your data will be secure. You use the app at your own risk.

Specifically, Ryouth Software disclaims all warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of speech recognition results. Speech recognition is performed on-device and may produce errors.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ryouth Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or service interruptions, arising out of or related to your use of SummonNote or the Ryouth Software website.

In no event shall Ryouth Software's total liability exceed the amount you paid for SummonNote in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or zero dollars ($0) if you used only the free tier.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page whenever we make changes. Continued use of SummonNote or the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Boulder County, Colorado.
